Iglesia Presbiteriana
Gracia y Paz

The vision for planting Hispanic PCA churches was birthed in 1999.  As the elders and deacons prayed together about strategic mission opportunities in our region, they came to the strong consensus that God was calling this church to that grand vision.

In God's providence, APC planted its first Hispanic daughter congregation in 2000 - Iglesia Presbiteriana Gracia y Paz - which has now become a mission church of the PCA.  The congregation is led by Pastor Joel Acevedo, a native of Chile who most recently planted a Presbyterian church in Asuncion, Paraguay.  The congregation is represented by more than a dozen Central and South American countries.

APC continues to provide Gracia y Paz with elder oversight, as well as strong financial and prayer support.  It is our desire to see God raise up additional PCA Hispanic congregations in the greater Washington, DC area to meet this growing need for strong, evangelical Spanish-speaking churches.
