The Men’s Ministry at APC seeks to inspire men to become passionate followers of Christ, living out their individual callings. We connect, encourage, support, and equip men — through Christ-centered worship, prayer, Bible study, teaching, and fellowship — to fulfill God’s call on their lives to impact their family, community, the nation, and the world.
Women’s Ministry at APC seeks to inspire women of all ages to become passionate followers of Christ. Our goal is to connect, encourage, and support women in order that they may be better equipped to: live according to God’s Word, rejoice in the gospel, and invest in meaningful relationships.
Alexandria Presbyterian Church’s philosophy of ministry to young adults is a little different. We don’t have the kind of young adult ministry you might expect to find, and this is deliberate. We desire to be a church family that worships, socializes, and grows together.
APC is a welcoming community of believers to those who face the physical challenges of aging. Our Seniors Ministry offers a fellowship and devotional time on Sunday mornings, along with transportation for individuals and those at the Lincolnian Assisted Living residences.
A 10-week forum held starting in January of each year with teaching and small groups where the primary emphasis is on growing in our walking in the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:16) Addresses the practical issue of how we take the biblical truth stored in our heads and actually begin living it out in ways we have not before.
CFGs are a great way to grow in Gospel-centered community. One of the key components to growth is close proximity — close proximity to Christ by faith as revealed in His Word and close proximity to other like-minded believers. CFGs are also where we as a church seek to do “front-line pastoral care.”
