Living in the Kingdom of God, Led by Pastor Chris Sicks and Elder Matt Brown, Chapel
This film-based study of Jesus’ Kingdom parables uses the Modern Parables curriculum. We will view short films based on the parables and engage in lively discussion of the meaning of text and what Jesus is teaching us in each of them.
Luther and the Reformation, Led by Elders Rob Fisher and Aaron Renenger, Room 303
2017 is the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s drafting and circulating of his “95 Theses,” launching the Reformation. Join us as we study, through the context of the life, times and theology of Martin Luther, questions such as the holiness of God, the centrality of his Word, and the basis for our salvation. We will utilize a videotaped lecture series by R.C. Sproul, coupled with discussion of the theological themes that drove the Reformation and application of those themes to our lives today.
All Sunday evening activities will be held from 5-7pm at 2405 Russell Road.
Sign-ups are required. To sign-up, please contact the course’s point of contact listed below, and indicate if you will need childcare.
