Shannon Allen

Shannon joined the APC staff in 2025. As Director of Women’s Ministry, she has the privilege of supporting the mission of APC by providing opportunities that further encourage and equip women to grow in their faith and become passionate disciples of Christ.

Before stepping into this new role on staff, Shannon was an active lay leader in the church and women’s ministries, including leading Bible studies and fellowship groups. Shannon finds great joy in engaging with local non-profits, particularly as a weekly front desk volunteer at the Lamb
Center, coaching soccer, and cheering on her children’s sports teams. Shannon and her husband Marc raised four children in Fairfax, VA after calling Beijing, China and Seattle, WA home as well.

Shannon received a Master in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Davidson College.
