“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and Mark 12:30-31

Growing Together in Gospel Grace

We understand that parents are the primary teachers and that the whole church community has the responsibility and privilege to teach our covenant children. Beginning with a strong Biblical foundation, we rely on the Holy Spirit as we pursue spiritual growth, foster community, and live and learn together in gospel grace.

Children’s Ministry Guidelines & Resources

Sick Child Policy

Tables are wiped down with a germicidal solution after each session and sterilized regularly. Please keep your child at home when you note any of the following within 24 hours of a church event:

We welcome your child in our classrooms if he or she has been free of the following symptoms for the past 24 hours:
Coughing, sneezing, runny nose & eyes
(excluding allergies)
Fever of 100 degrees F or higher
Vomiting or diarrhea
Inflamed mouth or throat
Non-clear nasal drainage

A child being treated with antibiotics should have been receiving the drug for at least 24 hours before returning to our CM spaces.

Safety

Your children’s safety is extremely important to us. All volunteers are screened, receive training and must comply with our Congregational Care and Safety Policy, which includes staffing each room with a minimum of two adults.

If you have any questions or more specific information about our Congregational Care and Safety Policy, or to obtain a copy please contact  Jackie McCauley. (highlight to link her email address)

While we strive to make our ministry spaces allergy friendly, we cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment.

Please do not bring food containing peanuts into the children’s wing or classrooms.
We do not offer snacks during Children’s church.
During Covenant Kids Key Equipping we share a meal together. Please inform Erin Furgerson if your child has food allergies and we can work together to make your child as safe as possible.
