5:00 am - 7:00 pm
Join us on June 8th at 5pm in the Sanctuary for a time of singing and learning about the central role of hymns in the church’s life and worship. This all-church event is family friendly. As we’ll discover together, the word “hymn” isn’t nearly as specific as one might think– Ben will argue that it characterizes the vast majority of our songs at APC, which tend to have multiple verses of text set to a single melody. Hymns at APC are both old and new, and are found both inside and outside our printed hymnals!
The singing and learning portion will take about an hour, and then we invite you to join us down in the Fellowship Hall for a potluck. Please bring a dish to share and drop it off in the Fellowship Hall before joining us in the Sanctuary.
