Women’s Summer Bible Study
In 1 John, God’s glory is powerfully on display — purity of light, lavishness of love, fullness of true life in him.
As an older man, John writes to the next generation with tenderness and conviction. He points to the Father’s love in Christ, encouraging them in their walk, challenging them to discern truth, and assuring them of the confidence they have in Jesus Christ. These truths are for us today.
Please join us this summer as we soak in God’s Word together and eagerly anticipate the Spirit to do his marvelous work. We will meet each Wednesday night from July 10-August 7, 7pm-8:30pm in the church fellowship hall. As summer brings vacation, this study is designed for you to come as you can. There will be minimal homework, but we will suggest participants to “hand copy scripture”, transcribing one chapter of 1 John before each meeting. During each study, we look forward to a time of fellowship and a rich discussion of that week’s chapter. Stay tuned for an email with more information.
