Ben Elliott

Ben delights in using song to dwell richly on the word of Christ and glimpse the inexhaustible glory of God. In his staff role, he assists the pastors in stewarding our worship services, advocating for music-making that is led by the Holy Spirit and centered around the singing of the full congregation. A native of Fishersville in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, he served as a musician for fifteen years at his home churches, Tabernacle Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, VA and Hope Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, IN, before coming to APC in 2022. In 2025, he married his best friend Bryn and brought her to APC.

Ben holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance from Indiana University, where he also studied mathematics and pipe organ and worked as an associate piano instructor. He has an extensive background in collaborating with singers, instrumentalists, choirs, and ballet studios. He enjoys practicing, reading, playing soccer, hiking, and supporting the sports teams of IU and Pittsburgh.
